For a stamper set you need...

    A stamper and scraper
    A nail plate
    A special polish

The fake scraper I had with the cheeky set wasn't the best, but the metal edged one with konad does scratch the plate. This doesn't stop it working, its just cosmetic, but worth being aware of.

I have tried using different nail varnishes, but they don't seem to do as well. I am now choosing to only use the special nail polish from konad.

I will upload a picture to here of using the normal nail polish instead of the konad stuff

Thanks for the quick replies girls, Lady S, don't suppose you have a link to somewhere that does a good starter kit with everything in to start me off - including instruction for idiots do you?

Here are starter kits on amazon, might be worth picking up one of those. I watched video's on youtube to see the technique.

Thanks, maybe a daft question but does it all come off with ordinary nail polish remover or something else.

Not a daft question at all, it just needs normal nail polish remover. Nothing fancy. It is like normal nail polish just super thick and smelly
  • Thanks, i've just ordered a kit, i've no idea what i'm doing lol, hope it's got an idiots guide with it pmsl.

If I can do it anyone can.

Basically you put polish over the pattern you want to use. Scrape off the excess and put the stamper on it.

Then roll the stamper firmly and steadily across the nail.

Then cover with a top coat to stick it on.

Lady S should be on commission from Konad & Candy!

Oooh I like those nails sawan. I don't really wear much blue, or green and never orange or yellow. I think I need to widen my colour palette
