US company Everyday Minerals does foundations in various formulations including matte. They have a good range of shades and are reasonably priced.0

Has anyone bought the bare escentuals on ebay?? Just wondering if any sellers could be recommended or if buying from Debenhams/QVC/local stockist is best to stick with.
Thanks! Ash xxOfficial DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
I've bought loads of BE and other mineral makeup brands from eBay, never had a problem.

I should have said "Take the usual care re who you buy from, as you would anything from eBay". But I'm sure you know that
And if you pay with PayPal you have great protection these days (which is why so many eBay sellers are wailing).

I'm really keen to try mineral make up as I've heard such fantastic things about it. I had an e mail this morning about e.l.f mineral make up - only 3.50 for each item. Sounded mega cheap compared to some brands I've looked at but makes me wonder if it's too good to be true!! So was just wondering if anybody has tried it and what you thought.
Thanks in advance

Hi
I have been using different brands of mineral makeup for the last year or so. My experience of ELF is that although they are really reasonable on price, I found their mineral makeup wasn't as nice on my skin as others I have tried. The best way to describe the feeling was a bit grainy and rough, whereas I like the ones that melt onto the skin. I've tried Southern Magnolia and Lilylolo makeup and I'm thinking of going back to Lilylolo as I just think it suits me better. Best advice is to send for sample/tester pots first to see which ones you like. Most send you wee pots and samples with an order so just try the cheapest thing. As ELF is so cheap, you could always just give them a try to see how you find them.
Hope this helps.0 -
I got a freebie eye shadow from them at christmas which is a lovely coppery colour and goes on metallic when wet so I use it as an eyeliner- pretty impressed.
And very impressed by their brushes
I havent tried their mineral foundation but at that price I think its worth ordering. The ingredients indicate that its pure mineral. I think perhaps if you order, try and dont like you can return for a refund in the 7 days covered by the distance selling law.
Im a Elemental Beauty girl myself, I found the lilylolo to be scratchy and didnt give me the coverage I liked0
