Mineral makeup - any good?

Hi everyone,
Firstly thanks to everyone on this thread for all their input. I've switched to using BE and am loving it.
Does anyone have any suggestions for where is the cheapest place to get it online? I bought the get started kit in a shop (went for the makeover, I know not very MSE!) I'm now in need of some more mineral veil. I'm not against ebay, but I'd like some recommendations, just as you hear so many horror stories about fake stuff on there, so if anyone has used a specific seller and is happy with them, please let me know! If not, other website recommendations please.
Thanks very much....I like my coffee black, just like my metal!

I will predictably (cos I think theirs is the best!!) recommend Elemental Beauty - pure as anything, alot of it is healing. Go online or call them - either way Nicola will guide you and the packaging is to die for!!Genie

I always buy my BE from Ebay.COM (america) There are plenty of resellers there who are happy to deal with uk buyers and even now with the exchange rate its still so much cheaper. If you pay 22 pounds here expect to pay less then 22 dollars.
Hunt for a seller whos not going to stiff you on packaging and only oder small amounts so you arent hit with customs0 -
Thanks guys,
Jeannie I'm going to try some EB eyeshadows, but love BE too much to switch, not until my BE kit is finished up anyway.
Suki, thanks for the advice, I was just wondering if anyone on here had a specific seller they'd used and were happy with...there is so much fake feedback and scamming going on on ebay at the moment!...I like my coffee black, just like my metal!

you have to be sooo careful with mineral make-up (powdery stuff) as you can just look so caked and patchy! which is not cool at all!
I think it was BE who had that whole swirl and tap routine. I recommend this a lot ( sorry if this has already been said). You only need the smallest amount and i see my friends caking it on and i cringe. Though i must admit i have done it before when i was in a rush but they whole point of it is to build up the layers that suit you.
I use the BE techniwue at my Avon parties and have sold lots of mineral make-up doing this aswell as the dusting brushes as my customers love to play around with.
Make sure you brush very lightly around your nose otherwise you look odd. I also suggest going with maybe one shade or two more than your normal colour as its much lighter than normal powders.
This is another selling point for avon reps as you can advise custs they can send it back or exchange for a lighter/darker shade. Than having to trail into town and be told you can't take it back!
Hope this helps.

I think that if you read back thru the posts on this thread, you will get tons of tips and advice. And yes, when applying, less is more
Fruit Salad - can you let us have the ingredients for the Avon mineral make up? I'd like to try it but not sure that it is pure minerals. I think someone said that they are not. May be you can clarify this?
cheers

bah some one beat me.
If you have an avon rep it couldnt hurt to try it out because you can always send it back and get a full refund.
plus its cheaper and probably just as good as BE ( I havem't tried it but seem demos on QVC) i like it and its good coverage which is a bonus.[STRIKE]0.5 st[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]1st[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]1.5st [/STRIKE] [STRIKE]2st[/STRIKE] 2.5st 3st 3.5st 4st 4.5st 5st :j0 -

I would just like to know what the ingredients are. I have very very sensitive skin and so far, have found only EB suits me, but I am open minded. I do not want to even try a product unless I know it is pure - the consequences for me can be awful!!
