Ok - Gatman's input changes the balance slightly - for the worse, if you're a buyer. The current count (including this thread and the other one on this forum) is now 18 newcomers who have joined this forum to say something about their experience of Mansion. The result so far is:

Negative - no TV received: 14
    Positive (or OK) response: 4

So... it ~still~ looks to be an extremely high-risk way to buy a budget TV.

As said above, recently set up site and no contact details on the website link:think:

Little late on this, however I do note that Mansion is registered to the same address in Liverpool as another famous scam -"computerwebstore". Much previous on them here and elsewhere - see http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.computerwebstore.co.uk

Same modus operandii, some got stuff others didn't. In fact I am ashamed to say I was done, in the end my CC refunded me.

It took quite a while for Computerwebstore to be taken down - unfortunately TS don't move very quickly (in another case "Utopia Office" it took Suffolk TS 15+ months before they were finally "removed").

I still don't understand why the T&C mentions California etc. Is it that the whole thing has just been copied and pasted from another site or is it actuallly an American company?

Copy and Paste. A quick search found this site has identical T&Cs, (only the name is different): http://store.articulate.com/terms.asp

There are others with [STRIKE]almost[/STRIKE] identical terms too.

So that address is just a mailbox that they set their domain up with, sneaky.

Never trust information given by strangers on internet forums

Is it just a coincidence that there is a branch of Mail Boxes Etc at that address?

It has to be said that the only apparently ''nasty individual'' here is you.
Most here are appalled at your behaviour and probably surprised that you are still here.

The information I've posted isn't for the likes of you.

Please, you are fooling no one. You are as dodgy as they come.

I urge people to check out the links in my posts. Then they can decide for themselves which companies to avoid.
Then they won't have to go through this nonsense in the first place.

We don't wish to view your underhanded promotion techniques. Suffice to say that everyone should avoid doing business with these crooks in the first place.

    Despicable.
