I had the leftover sauce/gravy from the braised beef hearts we had for St. Valentine's Day, as a soup with croutons.

It was absolutely delicious. Like oxtail soup, but richer.
If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5? :)

Chicken noodle salad, with carrots, peppers, pak choi, lettuce and sweetcorn (about 4 portions between them) plus chilli, nigella seeds and lots of coriander. I had a similar thing in a garlicky, lemongrassy stock as a soup on Monday too.

I've taken-up-for-Lent making sure I get at least 5 a day, so I've been photographing my grub and Instagramming them :o. They do look lovely, though I say so myself :D

We had carrot sticks and pitta bread cut in strips, with hummus to dunk them in. Tomorrow I am having a ham and cheese sammidge, and OH has got ham and chutney sammidge, with the chutney that he really likes but I'm not so keen on.

Actually I'm not sure there's much point me posting in this thread, nearly all my posts will involve sandwiches!

I did home made coronation chicken yesterday so I'll be having some of that in a wrap I think, or maybe in a buttie. With some salad.
