today I have a jacket potato (done in the oven last night) with beans and some fruit for pud.
  • It's freezing and I'm starving...so we are going to have bacon, sausage, fried egg, tomato, black pudding and mushrooms with sourdough toast.:)

;) Felines are my favourite ;)

My lunch yesterday was leftover roast pork, with some sliced red pepper and a couple of sliced broccoli florets, stir fried in a bit of olive oil and soy sauce. It was delicious, and I actually wish I'd only used half the pork so I could make it again today! :rotfl:

Instead I'll be eating some leftover uncooked tortellini which is in the fridge. Tomorrow I think it'll be a jacket with some hm tuna and veg sauce I've got in the freezer.

Today will be hm veg soup, left from yesterday's lunch, with some hm bread and maybe cheese.
I make a lot of soup but usually from scratch (fresh veg).
This one was from a bag of frozen 'soup veg' bought in Lidl and was really handy as a standby, quick too.
Only used a couple of handfuls (it's a mix of leek, carrot, celeriac, celery, peas, green beans & parsley, all nice small pieces), cooked in chicken oxo, thickened with cornflour and finished off with some milk. Was lovely:)

I had one of those packet pasta and sauce thingys - tomato and onion, with a couple of handfuls of spinach leaves stirred in at the end, and some grated cheese on top. My 2yo and I shared it :) probably not very healthy, but I am running seriously low on stuff! I'm pretty much out of everything, and not due to do another cupboard shop for another week!

I had made some Haslet sandwiches but got sidetracked by a hog roast van ... with sage & onion stuffing (sigh)
