Hmm, I know the feeling. I often have sandwiches, or soups. Or leftovers.
But I got a bit creative with the leftovers...
For example the other day I made Hairy Bikers Saussage caserrole. It was lovely by the way, I thoroughly recommend it. We had it with fresh bread. I had loooads of the sauce left. So I made boiled rice and just poured the sauce over it (like Uncle Bens rice pots).

Or when having spaghetti bolognese, next day you can spread a little bit of the meat mixture over piece of toast, add what ever (cheese?) and serve it as mini pizzas..
(or freeze and make later, if like my OH your family don't like the same food 2 days in the row, even if it is just ingredience that is the same!!).

Pizzas with chapattis as a base.. (learned this one during my 5:2 diet and we love it) https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=chapati+pizza+recipe&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=rihpUpTDEMSs0QXZ5oDwAg&ved=0CEEQsAQ&biw=1311&bih=543

I usually have a sandwich but otherwise it's soup, toastie, jacket potato, crumpets or a Staffordshire oatcake. Toast, scrambled eggs , marmite on toast. But nearly always a sandwich because I can't be bothered to make the others

I too eat a quick mug of soup , egg/beans on toast, salad or a sandwich but more often than not just a piece of fruit, I've found I've lost over a stone by eating fruit/soup for lunch and and smaller plate for my evening meal... not what you asked I know but I'm just saying lol

  • Of of my favourites when I am at home are toasted sandwiches, cheese and baked beans is my favourite filling - or left over spag bol.

I finish work at 1pm so dont get an official lunch break but I am allowed to eat a sandwich at my desk while I am working. It has to be something which isnt messy to eat though, and I work in a public office so cant have something that smells - so hot food is out.
  • I tend to often eat the left overs, if any from the night before. However I live cheese on toast but topped with all the little bits left in their fridge. I.e bits of bacon or ham, onions, toms, mushrooms etc, anything. The only problem with that is it ends up as more like a proper meal.
All the above mentioned by other peeps on here are good.
