Hello All  Sorry I havnt been on here for a few days my 5 yr old has been off school all week with a bad chest infection so not been able to get much done or post on here -So she happily playing on the sofa with toys at the mo
Seems like there is a few poorly kiddies on here this week - Hugs to them -
Lots of you seem to be doing well on here with your bags so far Well; Done :T:T On those with stars - And Thanks for joining to any newbiesI will be updating post 2 in a minute
Mumtothree3 - I too list and take pictures like others have mentioned . Take pics then list all at once or schedule them to all end fri - sat - sun evening . I also find Monday Evening for ending is good too { as long as its not a bank holiday - sales drop then !! }
I try to have most listings last for 10 days but i do throw quite a few on for 7 days ending on these days thow. Also I list all BIN so I still have many active listings throughout the week -These for 30 day listings .
alionear - As Nicola explained I too started posting second class and I have to use up the first lot out of my own pocket and then have a float after that .
I try to keep the cash in paypal as long as I can so I can purchase items or cash out with a substantial amount after a while or pay a bill etc . For example I am after a slow cooker at the moment so I will purchase that off ebay / or paypal payment accepting site then cash out most of the cash leaving a small amount in paypal again also this is used to purchase ink & packaging materials when needed bags etc . I feel like I have treated myself once a month thenI try this method on a monthly basis if I can !!
I have recently packed parcels and numbered them 1- upwards so when I go to the post office I pass them over in this order so when I get home I can easily note which parcels cost what for postage .
I have drawn up a spreadsheet this weekend - { Meaning to do it for a long time now } So now I can see clearly as I go along costs / profit etc . I just have to add the 7 parcels I posted yesterday to see my total
Please can someone add a link to micro payments if they have one ???
I will add all links to the second post for future reference
Do you have to set up a new paypal account for micro payments ??
Can you have one on a personal account ?
Does the cost include postage costs?? So if something sold for less than £10 with postage included it would be better to have micro payment ??

A quick update from me, I've got 10 items finishing tonight, 9 out of 10 have got bids on :j, the last one has 4 watchers so fingers crossed as well.
I've managed to get the sick bug from kids and have been really poorly in the last couple of days. still feeling very fragile but going to attempt to at least take photos of stuff to list at the w/end.
I've got another question, hope someone can help. During the last year Royal Mail lost a few items I posted (as they do ) I never bothered claiming for them and just refunded the buyers. However, I've now decided that I want to go ahead with the claims as every penny counts! I've still got receipts, I've checked them on RM Track & Trace and 2 of them are showing as "returned to CO". Does anyone know what CO stands for?0 -
Another item added to ebay last night, put it on for 10 days so it ends next Sunday.
My sister says Im mad cos its a coffee machine, I started the bidding at 99p. She says she wouldn't sell for that price, but obviously Im hoping that it goes for more than that :rotfl:Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
Evening all
I've some bits I'll list tomorrow and then I'll declare for another star - oh those stars are so important to me hehe
I'm going hunting in the garage tomorrow for the bits I put in there before Xmas, will dig them out and start the photo process, wish another free listing weekend would come along as I've some bits I want to start at over 99p

alionaear my best guess for "returned to CO" is claims office? I'm assuming you had senders details on them as you have a tracking number, would have expected them to have been returned to you. Its gotta be worth a try, espically if the tracking number shows they haven't been delivered, might get a book of stamps if nothing else which is over £5 quid in value.
Helen Jelly i was hoping for a free listing this weekend, they have been every other week for a while (apart from a break over xmas new year), maybe next week uh, don't let it stop you taking those pics though
