Well folks, all I can say is thank you for giving me the inspiration to get sorted on ebay. The two items that I would have sent to the tip in the end brought me just over £100. I can't believe it.
So thank you thank you thank you.0 -
Well done shellieholly :j:beer:
Of my 46 items, have bids on two so far, so I'm at £3.99 :j

Yes I have had that, ask them to post back and only then refund. I learn this the hard way and refunded then they didn't post back. However, they had their come-upance as I asked eBay's help line for advice and they refunded me my loss.shellieholly wrote: »Also I find I under price on the postage:mad: - how do you avoid that?
Get a good pair of scales, digital kitchen scales are fine, and use the Post finder web page. Most things are package rate unless they are very big in which case they are parcel rate or very small and less then 25mm thick. The size of the packages are detailed on the site though.
I usually add about 15p - 20p for packaging otherwise people complain. I swear some people want a used item to look new for 99p and expect it gift wrapped at no extra cost than the stamp.0 -
Fly-by-posting.......
FLW - Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th April
Missed the easter one so this is handy, off to do battle with the scales and get listing

FLW, just in time for me having a stinking cold and planning a weekend of lying on the couch feeling sorry for myself
Have got some +£1 things to put on though, might get them photographed and weighed tonight as soon as I get home, at least that way I can lay about and list when I can be bothered.
Got 46 items ending on Sunday, so far two have bids xCan't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
Brillient NFL Weekend.
Really need a few more of these to come up more often. We had an offered accepted on a house so need to have a hugh decluttered as were downsizing from 4 beds to 3 beds.
My MIL gave me a bag of clothes last weekend to do as I please with so they'll be going on ebay this weekend. Not having to much success with my listings of late.
One buyer is asking for a partial refund as she thought she was buying shampoo & conditioner not just the shampoo. Grr she clearly hadn't read my listing properly as I clearly stated 3 times in the listing it eas shampoo only!
Good luck listing this weekend peeps!Turning our clutter to top up our house deposit: £3000/£303.05 we're on our way!0 -

They really couldn't be more often unless they just took away charges for listing by private sellers entirely.
