I'm at work today, it's dead. It always is on Good Friday
So, Im photographing and listing lots of things, scheduling them to start Monday, will change them to immediate listing on Sunday night.
I know there is 4 free days this weekend, but I'm still sticking with them ending Sunday of next week, so listings will beging this Sunday :TCan't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
I'm busy taking photos of the stuff left in the house ready to spend the day listing them tomorrow and I'm doing the same as Zepsgal - scheduling them to start on Monday and then bringing it forward to Sunday. Going to attempt to get in the Garage tomorrow morning - if you don't here from me again I'll be buried under all the junk in there lol

PS Good luck with all the listing everyoneProjects made for craft fair - 40

Well I've been through my wardrobe last night so got quite a few bits to list to start tonight. Currently got 43 auctions live at the moment.
I've started a 99p starting bid box to put bits in that I can add throughout the week and on weekends when theres no No Fee Listing weekends.
Just transferred £54 out of paypal to my house deposit savings account.:j It's soon adding up, just need to make it add up more quickly as we're found our house and will be putting our offer forward in Tuesday. Need muchas money as we're looking to extend out the back and into the loft.:o
Mmm think we may need a lottery win rather than relying on ebay! LolTurning our clutter to top up our house deposit: £3000/£303.05 we're on our way!0 -
Morning folks. I had the same fun with the turbolister slapping charges on so I have deleted it.
I've been raiding lofts and cupboards to get the most out of the free list weekend too. Didn't know you could schedule, then edit it! Doh!
Looking forward to a few items finishing tommorrow, it's quite addictive watching the bids tot up £45 so far! ... and this for stuff I would have sent to the tip! (No one wanted them on freecycle)0 -
Hi, this thread is brilliant! I've for an age, been meaning to list my sons clothes-baby and toddler wear. I've been terrified as i'm so not techy minded it's untrue! Well this thread has given me the kicking i need and although i'll miss the FLW as i'm not verified (i've bought loads off ebay in the past, but never sold), i'm gonna start the ball rolling today. Hopefully by the next FLW i'll be ready! It seems really daunting, but i'm gonna go for it! Thanks all, on this thread!
One thing i don't think i've seen mentioned is the collect plus postal service? Does no-one use this as i was thinking to use this as the bundle is over 5kg. Thanks.:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0 -

I've used collect plus quite a lot, as i've been posting a lot of books, and that's about the only service i can use that the charges fit in with ebay's limits for. To be honest, it's a little bit hit and miss (i believe it's actually run by the Yodel courier). Sometimes it can get there earlier than estimated, sometimes it takes a little longer, however, the tracking is not completely reliable. More than once i've had it say it's been delivered and it hasn't or it's been delivered and it doesn't say it has. I've also had it where i've checked the tracking and it says 'there's a problem, call us' and when i have, there's been no problem, it's just that it's due to be delivered before the estimated date?!?
It does what it does for the price most of the time, but i ALWAYS offer collect plus as a first/cheap postage option (UK mainland) and a Royal Mail equivalent, no matter how much more expensive it is. I hope it shows that i'm just listing it as an alternative to charging the buyer RM's mega prices.
Phew... I had more to say than i thought! Hope it helps0 -

Hi all,
Did you all have a nice easter? I didn't get much listed as I don't really have much that I wanted to put on for over 99p. But that's ok cos I was away visiting my parents and we're away this weekend coming visiting his parents so not really got much time to be listed and posting stuff off. I did have 22 auctions end on Sunday which I enlisted DH's help on monday night after we got back to package it all up. Earnt us £120 before fees and P&P I think. Cost me £35 to post so that's £85 pre fees I think? Not too bad really. Was most impressed by DH's cornet mouthpieces - 1 went for £6 and 1 went for £21! Just need to make sure he transfers his PP money into our bank account, though he's currently at home dying from a cold so I doubt it'll get done today!
Right, I need to get back into this. We've got a weekend away this coming weekend but then a weekend at home the week after so I must get on with the next phase of selling. Jewellery box and MUST MUST MUST make a start on the study. We're both putting it off cos it's so chockablock full of stuff that we don't know what to do with. I have a feeling I'm going to have to be cruel to be kind with my hoarder hubby.Debt free in
