5 Items sold last night at a profit of £45 :) Although quite gutted as 7 didn't sell and all have loads of watchers :( Will have to wait for anothe NFLW as they are high value items and it was going to cost me £4 in listing fees to relist them.

Oh well moving forward and 5 less items in our house!

We're planning on tackling sorted through our garage over Easter weekend which I am sure will result in lots of thing to list to sell:)

  • Ok folks, can I join in. I've a ton of baby clothes that a clogging up the system, a wardrobe full of toys that are out grown, and a girls room full of toys that are forgotten and unloved.

I have turbo lister already, every time I have ebayed in the past though I have had buyers trying to claim I have sold faulty goods. Is this a common thing for you?
Also I find I under price on the postage:mad: - how do you avoid that?

What our peoples opinions of listing items to end over the Easter 2 weeks?

Is it worth if or best to wait till the schools go back? I'm in two minds whether to put anything up

Turbo Lister is making me want to throw my laptop across the room!
I unchecked the gallery plus and picture pack options, then when I went to upload my items it came up with a fee of 10p per item. I went into the item to edit it and they were checked again. Once again I unchecked it thinking I had made a mistake and clicked to upload again and it still came up as 10p. Went back into edit listing and these upgrade boxes were checked again!!!
What am I donig wrong? I just want a bog standard listing with no extras added on.

    Welcome shellieholly

I always post using the Post Office. When I'm photographing items I weigh them and note down the exact weight. When I'm listing on eBay, I open up a separate page with Royal Mail's website. You can get exact postage costs if you put the weight in, that way you can charge exactly what it will cost you, plus maybe 10p for packaging :)

98jdougl I've never used turbolister, hopefully someone else can help :(
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

So all of my auctions have now finished. Have made a boob and charged £4 P&P for one item and it's going to cost me double that to post it. You live and learn. Thankfully it didn't sell for 99p only .
Lots of items have gone unsold so I will be listing them on the various facebook selling pages over the next little while.
Hopefully I will actually get rid of all of it and get some pennies for it.
The other table I've sold is being collected tomorrow so that's gone from my lounge. Have also persuaded her to take the 4 dining chairs with her too so they'll be out of my way- YAY!

Good Luck Sharpee hope you find lots to sell.
Well I've managed to sell a few bits (only baby clothes at 99p but every little helps).

I wish everyone that won would pay quickly though so I can parcel everything ready to post tomorro, especially as my bag mountain just looks as big.

Sharpee - I've found ebay really helpful for decluttering - just now I'm selling stuff that I've been meaning to get rid of for months and just couldn't do it, not sure why. This is giving me the extra boost I needed :)
