    Mmm semi productive day:question:

Got rid of two boxes of books to husbands mother to take into work for their book club raising money for Help for Heros. Gave a high chair I had tried ebaying unsuccessfully to your neighbour.

I did discover a bag of ebay stuff I had forgotten about so theres some bits to put on tonight.:)

So not soo bad managed to get rid of quite a bit and found some stuff to ebay. I'm now off for a much deserved bath before I hit ebay tonight.

I've got 4 items ending soon that have had little interest all week (apart from the American who got as far as giving me her address so I paid to add a buy it now price, then I heard nothing ).

I've finally got bids on 3 out of 4 so at least they've sold - someone will have another absolute bargain on one if it stays at the original price but as my DH says, at least it clears them out of our way.

Still waiting to hear from my french buyer that I arranged a courier delivery for. I will report back and if all goes well as I was quite impressed with the company from my end- let's hope she feels the same!

Well I did really really rubbish this time round. A couple of people asked me to sell large items at the start price but both had lots of watchers, so I suggested they bid as didn't think it fair on the watchers & nobody bid.
I would have really really liked the dosh as away next weekend.

I think it's definitely the weather- no one is remembering to bid, even when they watch things. :(

I have nothing listed atm, may try to do a few bits today to finish on Easter Monday. Maybe people will have had enough of being out side by then! :)

Well, my relisted stuff didn't sell

A few of the items I know sell well, checked completed listings, but that's twice I've listed them now, plenty of watchers, zero bids :(

Maybe people are keeping the pennies for the holidays. Or they spent all their money on bulk buying petrol.

    Haha, maybe :)

Anybody heard from Keys? I pm'd her last week as she hasn't been on here since 22nd. Anyone know if she is on holiday or something?

    Hi everyone,

Can I join in too please. My whole house needs de-cluttering and this is just the sort of challenge to get me to start. I would like to aim for a carrier bag a week if this ok as I'm really busy with crafty things at the moment as well.

I think I will hang on to list lots of things when it is free listing days though if this ok but will list bits and bobs at 99p starting bid as I think these are free?

I have just had two items end yesterday which is going to kickstart my April total as these made me £33.73 profit. They are also both being collected which means no trips to the post office to me - a bit more fuel saved!!!

    Thanks for having me.

    Hi Craftingmad!! :wave::wave:

I have up to 100 items per month I can list for free starting at 99p. I'm sure when I started though it may have been limited to 10 items per month......

Definately hold on to bigger items, I made this mistake when I first started ebaying last year, 99p start (of course people will bid items up to £x). Well, no, they didn't! Lesson learned!

    Good luck! x

Postage estimating is doing my head in- 2 small items today have been lighter than I originally charged and the heavy lot that went for a bargain price turned out to be over 5KG so it took it to the next charge band for parcelforce. I have just spent ages trying to find a courier to send it within the price that I charged

The worst bit is that I have digital scales and use them, but always under or overestimate the packaging. Can I ask please, do people package the item and weigh before you list the item?

Welcome Craftingmad :j lovely to see you. I have loads of craft stuff to sort and list if I ever get around to that room!
