I hate it when I end up being out of pocket because an item goes for so little & then the person pays via pay pal & collects it. It would be a whole lot easier just to take the whole lot to the charity shop. But then I wouldn't get the surprising items that do really well.
Managed to list a few more items today & take 2 parcels to the post office now have a whopping £2.91 in pay pal lol (already transferred postage fee).
Ah well on the plus side the sun is shining & I've baked some bread, made & decorated a batch of buns & spent an hour in the playgrround with my young girls20/01/10 Began as an Avon Representative. C4 - £156.16 :j C5 - £219.75:T0 -
The person who paid via paypal has agreed to let me refund her the money and is going to pay in cash when she collects.
I know we can't refuse paypal (stupid system if you ask me, you should be able to for collection only items) but when you say all the way through that the item is cash on collection, why bid if you aren't prepared to pay cash on collection? Unless of course, you are a scammer.
One table has been collected today and two items have been posted. Phew. I'm finally getting rid of some junk! Beats me why I actually hold onto it all but at least I will free up some space now!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Our bedroom is starting to look a bit cleaner, managed to get 21 items packaged up that my DH posted yesterday for me :j
The woman in the post office gave him a roll of Special Delivery stickers, the ones that they scan and stick on the parcels. I know I'm being a bit thick...... but how does that work exactly??
She told him that I just need to add stamps to my item plus one of those special delivery stickers and stick it in the postbox. All makes sense. Does this mean that when it gets picked up and taken to the sorting office, they will seperate it into Special Delivery mail??
I thought you paid extra for special delivery?? So how many extra stamps am I supposed to put onto a package?? I honestly don't think it makes sense at all, but maybe someone can shed some light on it?!?

I have no idea zepsgal!
I have sold a DVD player today so that's another thing out! Got some interest in my pushchair too. Fingers crossed I can get rid of it.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

Can I join please? I'll try and not be faddy. Have got a ridiculous amount of clutter and a ridiculous lack of funds. Am hoping that the two can make a pact with each other to help me out!
Listed 6 things last week which are packaged and labelled, ready to go to the post office today if I can co-erce OH to do the run.
Have downloaded the turbe lister with more items ready to list. Still have the 10 items restriction on the account but have put through to verify my paypal account which should hopefully lift it.0 -
Welcome 98jdougl!
I've relisted more things on Tuesday for 5 days to end Sunday, really hoping for bad weather so everyone is indoors and bidding :rotfl:Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
Well I know the weather's supposed to be turning here so you may be lucky zepsgal!
Hmmm, I need to get some stuff on this weekend if the weather's going to be rubbish next week! I'm away at easter but back on monday night and I wouldn't be posting on monday anyway with it being bank hol so I'll stick stuff up on sunday for 7 days I think. Unfortunately, I think we're on to the next room which is the office and is FULL of stuff to flog. But DH and I both need to go through it and he's a hoarder through and through. I think this room's going to be difficult but potentially the most profitable.Debt free in
