  • Hi all,

I'm still having my hmph phase but I did manage to clear out my jewellery box on monday and started taking pics and packaging up. Ran out of jiffy bags/bubble wrap so there's more unpictured than there are pictured but it's a start. I think we made about £20 last weekend. nothing to write home about but better than nowt!

I list within the EU (outside EU requires customs stickers and I can't be doing with all that lol!). I have recently started blocking Italy and the Russian Federation after friendly advice on here. But a lot of my items go to czech rep, lithuania and other eastern european countries. Not sure why but they are happy customers and give me money so I don't go into it!!!

Smidge_smudge - I cleared my wardrobe out and a lot of the stuff was years and years old and some of it damaged but it mainly still went to happy homes. I was quite clear where there was damage and if it was easily reparable. Don't be put off just cos your items aren't in mint condition or designer labels. There'll still be someone out there who's willing to buy, just might be further afield than the UK

    :)

    A lot I think.
    Just googled it,

    http://www.postal-rates.co.uk/2012/postal-rates.asp
  • Oh !!!! !!!! !!!!. I've just realised I've put all my postal rates on the old rate. Which is fine if people pay immediately but if they don't and I post on tuesday I'll have to pay the higher rate and lose out. I thought I'd got it covered as well. Anyone know if you can change postal charges on items already listed but not been bid on yet? Balls.

Have got 3 bids out of the 57 listings I put up on sunday tho so far. Better than nowt ;)

Sorry don't know answer to that. Realised I have done the same - just have to hope folk pay promptly. I had 9 sales on Sunday - all paid and posted yesterday.

You should be able to change the p&p charges on the items without bids so far, not too sure on the ones with bids.
Personally I'd stick the new rates on now & if people pay promptly refund the difference.

Yeah you can change it, as long as there is no bids on it. Just click on your listing, then at the top click on edit listing
