Thanks guys. Just been through and changed some of the ones without bids but it's sooo slow (on work computer) so I'll have to go on tonight and amend the rest.
Interesting that they've made the weight brackets wider with the new prices. Before there was a smaller weight range per price increment, and on some of them, the heavier end of the range is actually cheaper now. Although the lighter end is dearer, which makes sense I suppose with the average.Debt free in

Well, another free listing weekend this weekend! :j
Me and DH have started to save for a deposit for a house, so from now any money I make from ebay will be going straight into the savings :T
Going to update my signature to add on Money made from eBay woop!!Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
Oh good a NLF weekend. I've slacked of the past week and not relisted anything. Going to get a load of stuff on this weekend, must remember new postage weights though!
Not done too bad with ebay. Since I joined this thread I've made £300 profit and managed to get a load of stuff. Just as well as we're mving in 2 months time so less to move. Only £500 short of our full deposit for the house so need to get listing again!Turning our clutter to top up our house deposit: £3000/£303.05 we're on our way!0 -
I don't seem to be attracting much traffic on ebay this weekend. In the past when I have listed odds and ends from my house I get watchers and even bids within a few hours. This time I've only got a handful of watchers and no bids at all yet.

It's well seen that there's been a payday in recent days - I sold 17 items out of the 57 I listed last weekend. So the rest I re-listed straight away and 2 of them already had bids last night lol!!! Let's hope more go next sunday.
Well done on your listings Littlestflower - you have much more stamina than me!!!Debt free in

Well done MummyDrusilla, hope your items sell well this item. You make an interesting point about it being near payday. I think it is a good diea to place listings which end nearer the end of the month when most people will be paid.
I have not done this challenge for a while. I thought I had gotten rid of all my junk but it all seems to have crept slowly back in. I have also lost weight so selling all my size 16/18 clothes. I made a mad dash last night to search for things to sell before the free listing closed. I managed to put several items on including a faulty laptop. It has been lurking in a bag for months and only needs a minor repair so should sell well. I have a PC so do not really need it.No More Buying Books: read 0/25; Bought: 0

i dont know what i do wrong but taking into account the ebay fee, the paypal fee and the trips to and from the poist office i reckon for each pound i make i actually only see 50 p, im lucky to make 3 or 4 quid a week, hardly worth doing.....0

tkwad - I think it's luck of the draw sometimes whether stuff sells for massive amounts or not, depending on what it is of course. Do you look at the completed listing search function to see if what you're listing is worth it? Might help to sift out low profit items?Debt free in
