Ok so we got the money together and bought our own house! :j

Now we're settled in it I need to get back to eBaying as we want to build 2 extensions so need to start making some more money to go towards them.

So far there's £600 in the pot so this weekend which is a no fee listing weekend I am going to start listing again.

I've still got a box of stuff somewhere that I haven't unpacked along with some Laura Ashley curtains that the last owner left in the house to list.

Fingers crossed that the bids start coming in!

    Congratulations on your new home!!

I managed to list 20 items on Ebay last night for the FLW.

Had a huge clearout - mostly all old clothes, toys, books, ornaments and kitchen stuff (crockery, old appliances etc).

Tried my luck at a Car Boot Sale but everyone wanted something for nothing - average price was about 50p - (£2 Crock-pot - got offered 20p) so ended up bringing most home as didn't want to give away everything for free. Also, noticed that people would barter you down from £2.00 to £1.50 then only give you £1.10 as they walked away with their bargain purchase - this happened a few times. Going to take lots of pics and put on Gumtree as a job lot to save me listing individually on Ebay.

Hoping to get more listed in the few days.

Hope you are all still keeping on selling!
  • Hi Everybody

I hope everybody has listed lots of item on ebay over the three free days.

Has anybody ever listed any items on Amazon. I was just wondering what people thought and if it was easy to add items.

    Take care

  • It's easy to list on amazon if the item you're selling is already being sold by other people. There's a link on right hand side of page for you to sell an item like this. Not so easy to sell something that isn't on there.

    I like this thread :)

I've sold a few books on Amazon - very easy to do. The fees are pricey though :(

Hi! I don't do a bag at a time, just bits and pieces when I can but it soon adds up. Free listing week coming up so no excuse not to list.

I hope everyone is enjoying the free listing, or is everyone ebayed out?
  • Hello everyone :) I'm unsure if this is the right place to post, but I have been listing some things on ebay (not making much yet, but fingers crossed!) and someone has asked me for a refund because the dress doesn't fit her daughter. Now, I did state that I didn't accept returns unless the item or description was faulty, but I'm not sure what to do now! I have never returned anything that hasn't fit me (unless bought new from a shop/online etc) as I never thought I'd any rights to do so from a private sale, but I don't want to annoy the buyer I guess. Perhaps it won't be worth her while paying return postage just to get a few pounds back, so I'll mention it to her... but what do you do when someone wants to return something because they've changed their mind? x
