Congratulations on passing your driving test keys :D.
I've not bothered contacting ebay about the knife. According to people on the sellers board, it does contravene policy. It's more for serving than eating so it's against policy :(.
Have worked out that I made £110 for the items I sold from the last FLW. I have no interest in any of the items I have put on this time. I expect I'll just keep on relisting until they sell! Funny that though because you only get 100 listings on FLW. Lets hope I never get to that amount of stuff rolling around being relisted again and again!

OK, i've been reading the 'things you thought you couldn't sell thread' and it's inspired me a little bit. After thinking i've done all the ebaying that's possible from my own possessions, I think i can find some things around the house to 'try' to sell for a bit of fun, so i'd like to join the thread if people don't mind? I'd like to sign up to list 1 bag per week please? :)
    littlesheepy please
  • Huge congratulations, keys!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Very well done!!!!!! :j:j:j
  • Hello all!!!

I have been lurking on this thread since it started and pretty much immediately started Ebaying again after about 18months away from it!! THANK YOU!

I forgot how stressed it makes me though - worrying like crazy in case there is some fault that i have missed, especially as i now have to do all my "work" on an evening when the children are in bed, and do everything in artificial light

However, I have sold 72 items in the past month - only 3 havent sold and have made £460 after fees and packing and stuff ( well that's how much there now is in my account !)

I want to say thank you to who-ever mentioned the schedulling trick, as its great - i used to list through Auctivia when it used to be free and I liked that i could save my listings

Today i have been to someone "open house" sale and i have came away with 3 bin bags full of stuff for myself and the children to wear- so i can sell all there old stuff! YAY! I only wish id gotten more as the lady only charged me a fiver for the lot! Theres 3 brand new this season Next top in there priced at £26 and £28, plus all the childrens stuff is Monsoon, Boden and last season Next !!!!! I had only taken £20 with me to limit how much i could spend and i'd expected having to put stuff back. Even if i sell everything at 99p each I'd still make £253 - I'm over the moon

Do you think its cheeky to go back up and see if she's got anything left???

Anways I like to list about 15 a week - is that 2 bags? if so can you put me down for that please

Thank you all for your inspiration!
  • Oh and i may put on our Meerkat toy too, maybe's next week as we dont want to flood the "meerkat" with them and drive the prices down!!!! x
  • Just started on ebay, I can only list 10 items a month. Do you know how long it will be before I can sell more, do they automatically update it after a while, thanks.

    2nd bag sold!!

I've now made a total of £73.69 (after fees and postage) in less than 2 weeks! :T:T
I have 4 items listed at the moment due to end this weekend.

I've been just sticking things straight on whenever I was ready to but having read some of the tips on here I'll think more carefully about when I list my next lot.

I've found that having the ebay ottoman at the end of my bed has made life much easier for ebaying. It just seems that you have mess everywhere if you are ebaying so if it can all be stored in one place, it keeps things much tidier.
