Start a case in the resolution centre for a non paying buyer. This then sends them an email reminding them to pay. If they have not paid after 4 days you can then close the case, the bidder gets a non paying buyer strike against them & you can relist the item.
If you relist without doing this the original buyer might pay up & you might also get a bid on the relist which would then complicate things as you would have to cancel the bids on the relist.
I hope this makes sense.0 -

Rosygirl just jump on in to the thread, i did & no one mindedI aim to list 7 items a week (one a day) extra on a free listing weekend if possible so i count 7 items has my one bag. Depends how high you've stacked your table & how big it is? If it's like my table then it's probably something like 20 bags :rotfl:
I've still only listed 5 items todayMaybe the highly stacked table is actually just too daunting for me, little steps, little steps...

Its actually the table that I sold ! Still waiting for it to be collected though ( a week), although the buyer paid through paypal so I'm not too worried, I'd just like shot of it!* Ebay- 1 Bag a Day *0 -
Hooray!!! That's me done, 30 items listed over the weekend. My head is still spinning. They'd better all sell after this marathon!0

Thats great. Thank you so much for your advice.
I have done that now.
I hope it dont happen again as its quite annoying and I feel bad having to keep sending people reminders0 -
What a great thread. I am going to give it a whirl as have a spare room packed with stuff to sell on ebay and need to get it cleared out as want to decorate it. Have a marine fish tank in there. So that will be first to go.Yearly Grocery Budget - £100.77/ £3500. January Treats Budget - £11.80 / £100.0

I've been naughty and only relisted things this weekend, no new listings
In my defence, my sister in law gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Friday, so I've spent most of the weekend being really rather broody!! Wonder if my DH will agree that my eBay money will allow us to afford a baby?! :rotfl:Can't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
I've now got 32 items listed. Only 11 are new items. 2 were sold but buyer has not paid so have opened a NPB claim for both and relisted. If they pay within the next 4 days, I will end the auction and send them, if they don't, they will be hit with 2 NPB strikes. Very foolish. The rest are just relisted (some now for the 3rd time). This time though, I have changed the start price to make it high enough to include P&P and put free postage on all of my clothing items.
Hopefully some people will be daft enough to go for it
DS bought a skylanders figure a few weeks back and DH was in the games shop with him yesterday. The chap in there said that one sold for >£70 recently. DH's card got bent because he wouldn't wait for me to get the scissors to cut the sellotape. He'll be gutted when he realises that that will knock a fortune off his figure.
I'm hoping that we can sell his game soon actually because he has finished most of it. I doubt he'll get anything like the true value of it though as it's now all opened.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Ha Rosygirl thats great i completly got the wrong end of the sick with regards to the table :rotfl:hopefully it's collected soon. It'll be a big bulky item outta the way
Zepsgal i think exceptions can be made for special occassions
Welcome hamish222 :j
Qazitory - You can sell pretty much anything you can think of, think the most popular items people sell are clothes (hard catagory to sell in) toys, dvds i think. Best thing to do is get a couple of things you no longer want and search on ebay for them, also search completed listing to see what they sell for. Even something like a broken digital camera/games consol will sell as people will buy and fix them
L.Flower i was once given a load of pens once about half were parker and the other half were some name i've never even heard of, thought they were a load of rubbish but might make a nice gift for someone got a banged them on ebay at 2.50 each didn't i get a shock when they went over 30 quid each
Unusal things? humm it's too late to wrack my brains, i'll have to have a think, someone sold loads of silly stuff once like a chip attracted media attention and went for a stooopid amount. Also way back a girl sold her ahem 'first time' (no it wasn't me lol)
Hope y'allss made progress this weekend. Next weekend we'll all be busy wrapping all those sales (hopefully)
alionaear well done on your total i made about 20 new listings and managed to dig deep for about another 40 relists

Another good thread to read through, https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/343625
All the weird & wonderful stuff people have sold.
It started a long time ago so some of the things that sold at the start of the thread may no longer be popular. For hunts & tips I'd start reading it from the last few months, for a giggle from the start.
I listed 59 over the weekend, some relists though. 1 item I listed last night has 6 watchers so hopefully that will go for a bit.
Good luck everyone.
ETA most vintage items go well, especially bags & boots. Shabby Chic stuff is also a good seller.0
