    Hi everyone

Just wanted to say that because I re-started on Ebay because of this thread I have just booked a 4 day caravan stay in Bude, Cornwall in June and paid with Paypal funds [£62.50] for 4 of us. So thanks to everyone for making me get off my bum and Ebay, now need to raise the petrol money but thats in hand too

Heya! I haven't used ebay in such a long time but after having my first baby I'm so bored, so might partake in a little dabble. :P

Is it still the same? 99p listings are free? Are these limited? And also do they still do their unlimited free listing weekends? I think recently I had a look on there and it was only 100 items? Back in the day I would put 400 items on per weekend lol. I made quite a bit :) Had to stop because I was getting to "tired" to go up in the attic and get all my ebay stuff - little did I know there was a little babber in me!

Well done helen, loads of time for your petrol & spending money.
Fredula, 100 free items at 99p a month & also 100 over £1 per month.
If you've not sold for a long time though I don't know whether there will be a restriction on how much you can sell.
Congrats on the new baby & good luck with raising some cash.
  • Hi all,

Well lots of things ending later today and they're up to around £45 so far. Some things ended on Thursday and Saturday and I've had my first non-payer from one of Thursday's listings. They're from singapore (despite me excluding any location outside the EU ) and aren't responding to my invoices. I'll send them a msg tomorrow and if I get no reply by tomorrow night, I'll have to open a NPD. I don't think I'll see any money from them. Luckily they weren't the only bidder so I'll hopefully be able to second chance it. If not, I'll re-list. Annoying tho.

I've had 3 pairs of baby's first shoes on since January (keep re-listing) and I just can't get rid of them!!! Others that I had sold pretty well, some on the first listing, some on the 2nd listing but these are determined to stay with me forever!!! I'm not going to be beaten tho :P

Well done so far everybody. Spent all weekend listing mum's 'treasure' and just sold some of her books :)
In the listing I'd given a choice of 2 postage options, listed as freight but now they've sold, I'm trying to invoice th buyer it's only allowing me to put one postal price on the Invoice. Any ideas of how to get around it to give the buyer a choice?

Maybe you could message the buyer & ask them which they prefer & then invoice them.
All mine end tonight, in the last hour or so I've had loads of questions. Fingers crossed that I've given the answers they were hoping for & they bid.
I'm on just under £50, with 1 item having 58 watchers, so everything crossed that a few of them will turn into determined buyers.

ETA, if you've ticked the box to say that buyers can't change the invoice, which I have always ticked, you won't be able to put a choice of postage as they can't change it, so it would add them together, I think.

Thanks. It's one auction for a job lot of items (not combined postage) listed as 'freight' but in the listing (as ebay tell you to) i've listed the shipping cost but have given the option for courier and royal mail but when i come to invoicing can only charge for one. Have looked into paypal's 'request money' option but that's confused me even more. for one, i don't have the ebayers email address to invoice.

I'd just message them & ask how they want it posted & then send the invoice.

Have you gone into the postage bit & only ticked the EU bit for postage options?
