Personally i would just ignore them, they will get the message, as for your dog not "going", our dog has always done this from when she was a puppy, quite often she will go for 2 or 3 days before she lets loose (so to speak), when i mentioned it to the vet ages ago he said not to worry, they can be just like people.
And chop chop with a pic, i'm dying to see him.0 -
Thanks!
Im just starting to find in unbelievable that they are not going away. They text last night but i didnt see it until this morning so i have replied the following:
'Im sorry but you sold me the dog and he is now mine. I have no intention of selling him or rehoming him with anyone, this is my final word on the matter so please do not contact me again. This is now becoming harrasment, if you contact me in any way again then i will be informing the police.'
It just makes me wonder, if they have £1000 why dont they just go any buy another dog, why are they so dead set on getting him back.
Anyway, yes he has been now! Hooray! He actually went 3 times yesterday in the end, he has a lot of excitement last night as my brother in law brought his dog over and they were playing for ages!
He didnt eat his breakfast again this morning tho, he just wasnt interested.0 -
It's probably a scam. They need to puppy back to sell on to someone else, so you turn up to pass the puppy on and he is stolen instead, leaving you out of pocket and puppyless. They are hoping the money is more important to you (and a lot of people it is).0

Well done on sending that text :T:T They should get the message now - Pardon the pun
If they are as daft as they sound - They may just be doing it for a laugh - Or high on drugs - which is probably the latter !! Hopefully that will be the end of thatStill keep a close eye thow and if they contact you again I would report it then you have it offiical and they may call round to see them - they may get done for stealing if the dog wasnt theirs in the first place
if he isnt eating his food don't worry he has had a recent change in circumstances and Very obviously for the better !! ... Just make sure if he doesn't attempt to eat it in the first 5 mins - remove the bowl out of sight - this way he will learn that when he gets food and he is hungry he will eat it , otherwise he will play games with you once he is fully settled in and probably cause you worry in the process . Try him again with it in a few hours but don't make a fuss about it being feeding time . He can smell when the food is about so he will get it when he is hungry - so don't worry it's just one of those things they do whilst learning .

I wonder if the dog wasn't theirs so sell in the first place? They might have been looking after it for someone and now THEY want it back. The other people might have threatened them and they are obviously doing all they can to get out of their mess.
Whatever it is, it sounds well dodgy and one more text and I would be reporting it to a few people. Like Sooki said, if they are on benefits where are they getting the money from? It would be worth calling their bluff saying you agree with £1000 and turn up with a benefit officer instead.
As for a pic, whilst we would all love to see a cute puppy, what if they read this site??0 -

This is all getting rather wierd isn't it!
If you do consider posting pics anywhere do first check geotagging (on www if you dont know about it already) as pics on online can give away the location where they were taken, and in yoiur case may give a clue where the dog is nowYou never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0 -
