Gone back to the stretchy here too. As others have said the fixed width is horribly cramped and I hate seeing the thread titles spread over 2 or 3 lines.

I'm embarrassed to admit that other than the huge banner at the top, I can't tell the difference!! Not really one to pay attention I guess or maybe its because I'm not normally on here on my phone. Which brings me to my next question... Can you make an MSE app please?!

I'm not sure if this is something I've done or a glitch? When I view MSE in IE I get this:


But when I view it in Safari I get this:


Both are set to fixed width but as you can see in Safari I can view things 'properly' so to speak but in IE its more squashed and at the top some of the text overlaps. Sorry if the pics are a bit small but don't want to ruin anyones viewing experience :rotfl:, will upload bigger if necessary. BTW I am viewing on a 22" screen.

Have you got the Zoom levels different on Safari?

Do you have any specific settings for safari or is it a case that safari has some fixed view settings?
ps: is safari something like firefox, sounds nice and exotic :snow_grin

Really peed off now.

I printed some posts from the fourm, before i changed to the strechy thing, and it only showed half of the posts-literally cut in half, i now change it and exactly the same thing has happened. Its printed 12 pages in total-in colour. This is supposed to be a money saving fourm, yet ive wasted money printing stuff that i cant use. Can some one tell me when this will be fixed? Its not like i can just copy it in to word either, it takes about half an hour to remove all the rubbish.

Not set up either browser, they are both in their native installed settings because I have only just reinstalled the sytem from nothing!! Safari is made by Apple but I use it cos I like it (I don't actually possess anything Apple!)

did you select printable view?
