Fixed width looks awful on my new 23" screen.0

I changed to stretchy last week, and all of a sudden, its reverted back to fixed width. Ive checked my settings, and its still coming up new masthead, stretchy, less bright.
Im using IE8.
Please help, i really do not like this fixed width, makes my eyes go funny!
Ive tried refreshing, and re saving the stretchy settings, but its still not showing as stretchy.0 -
