Well that post made less than no sense didn't it - serves me right for trying to type, provide Doglet ear tickles and watch the weather.
Regarding the regulator I have had a few not so positive communications about working there so am a bit concerned about the from frying pan into the fire type scenario.
other than that I have decided to take the bull by the horns and try to sort DH mortgage out change to repayment rather than interest only. I worked out that we have to find another £600 per month between now and the end of the term to pay it back on the current interest rate. Scary stuff. I went over to the mortgage board and had a shuffle about there, read through MSE site bit and did some digging on LC - have 5 options which I can now discuss with IFA / Broker when she comes over as to which ones may be worth a go. We shall see.
Decided to bit the bullet and force myself to have no money to fritter this month, so put the bit marked for CASH spending into the savings pot for debt payment.
Seem to have managed to get to the point where I am not feeling sick every second of the day, but very tired as Doglet spent most of the night sat on my head with a grumbly belly grizzling at me which did not go down very well.

Grumble grumble grumble DH found the money I had secreted into an account for Christmas and New Year. Want to hear how he has managed to get the loan down as he now has his pay info and so on. Left him a list of 5 items and came back to find he had delegated them all back to me!!! One I cannot do as I simply don't sound male on the phone!
Are hoping that we can reclaim the extra insurance we took out when abroad to get the car recovered. Worth a go so he is on the case with this one. Allegedly. Text sent to prod.

Insurance rebates promised onto card. Came home to find DH had out of his overtime paid for plasterer to fix the hole in the wall and the ceiling of the landing. Good mates rate cash deal too! And we have the paint for it too. Not paying debt but making life happier in the house. Got a good quote for the house insurance, just got to check the small print.Start info Dec11

Then I had to go back home, and get on with life to be able to come back to work about 1 hour later.
Feel like carp now thick head minus 4 hours sleep is not a happy place for me to be .......
Last day this week in work, so bound to be a load of carp hits my desk about 3pm.

I have free tickets for the ideal home show (I hope) but the email link hasn't come through yet :-(
Combined with some cheapy rail tickets will be a nice day out, and last time we got outstanding presents very cheap.
Not doing presents this year, agreed with sister and her family (small donation to niece child trust fund only), nothing for parental types other than a calendar and some fudge or similar sweeties (very cheap we have a Gr0up0n deal for the calendars and have pics of us / them throughout!) and nothing for each other - we've said we will get a Gr0up0n deal for next year and have a weekend somewhere together. Bingo only food to sort and we always buy a bulk load from the butchers before Christmas to see us to summer and now we have the bigger freezer I can do the lots of freezing actions!Start info Dec11

Spent a merry half hour emptying all the bottles of shower gel from hotels I have collect over the years into a bug bottle for use. Have enough for another refill of a 500ml bottle goodness me and all freebies too. Loads of conditioner and shampoo to do too but not enough space in those ogles yet. Bit of a funny colour until it gets all mixed up but easier to handle one large bottle than the wee ones that slip through the corner basket thingy.
Just actually put some makeup on for the first time in nearly a year, hope it looks OK off for dinner at friend tonight so sure she will tell me if I look dreadful.Start info Dec11

OK so a few bits to update, loans are coming down a bit ( updated signature!) and I have managed to get the money for Christmas and New Year spending in place, plus snaffled a little bit as an emergency fund this month.
A wise person stated the obvious in reply to a post I made and it has been mulling in my mind so i taken the advice and applied it to my situation and mindset. currently we use the credit card and pay off each month, it works for us (well it was my system DH adopted). In response to the prospective upheaval I have been frantic that what happens if no money coming in and the card needs paying and we need money for food in the first month of poo hitting fan. The obvious answer as stated is to change to cash only for all transactions pay the card off and leave well alone. Well applying it to my situation as being a safety net I have worked out want the usual spending is on the card, added a bit for good measure and now snaffled this (all those NSD pay off you know) into a me only savings account. Bingo now I can pay it off is the poo hits the fan and revert back to cash only without compromising cash flow. It and the emergency fund are currently one and the same but making progress starts with one small step for man, one giant leap for indebted kind.
But please dear diary and readers thereof, this secret remains ours, not for DH ears.
Spoken to three mortgage brokers and basically we cannot change the mortgage from interest only to repayment until the loans are sorted due to high LTV and financial commitments. so all advise over pay these loans and get them out the way. Scarily we need to find an additional £650 PER MONTH (YES THAT IS PER MONTH!!!!!!) to change from interest only to repayment. ARGH ARGH ARGH
Oddly this is not going to happen any time these loans are in force. Depressing but factual we are stuffed on the mortgage front. Back to snaffling money into a savings account to over pay the loans with a vengeanceStart info Dec11
