So all bills are known for next month and it's another's tight one. I have managed not to spend any cash this month which means I am hopefully not going to use the cash allowance for Oct and this will mean I have a little extra for debt crushing.
DH found that every time we make an additional payment to his loan account with useless S@nt@nder he has to call up and specify if he wants the term reduced or the monthly payment reduced. How tedious is that? Oh and no possibility to manage online either, they aren't going to do that!
Well the no spending Sept is going OK, work is not going OK, had an interesting conversation with a well known person who is going to keep their eyes and ears peeled for me so that is nice. Need to get an application form in the post pronto this week and make a call to the nice man to see if I can get any more insider info on it. Hoping it will aid my cause.

Car breakdown cover has come through, given the dramas with DH car we needed to sort that one and my car cover expired so I reactivated the old car policy I had put on ice. That is now up for renewal so need to get this sorted, off to do some research .....

Ha! £38 for breakdown cover not £157 how about that for a saving! DH car will have to have separate cover for Euro travels (if I ever agree to get in it again after the dismal performance it produced on the holiday - blinking POS).

No how can I create £50k after tax in the immediate future?

Ended up spending a fortune on taxis for work yesterday all in cash and so had to get a claim in ASAP when got to the office today. Wont be done until Monday but not to much of a drama and still have some pounds left in my purse. Does this count as a NSD still as it was not for me? I think so. The other bonus is that instead of the cash sitting in my pocket and singing to me periodically it will now hit my bank account and so if I manage to get through next month without taking any more cash out then I will have a double bonus whammy of debt funds.

Regarding work, I still cannot shake this completely feeling sick feeling every time my brain wanders to the topic (about 5 times a minute or so it feels!). I don't know why - usually I trust my gut and occasionally this impending sense of doom usually means something TERRIBLE is going to happen. I don't know how I will cope if this is the case here with work. Or in fact with life. I am trying to convince myself that it is my dodgy stomach and general not-quite-good-health state. And the fact I am stressing at a ridiculously high level

Well here it is the end of a month. Bit of an upsetting night with DH need to have a rethink about him and I and drinking and socialising. I did drink too much, but really feel that DH tried to completely undermine my confidence and memory by claiming things were done /said that I didn't remember and when I asked for an example he couldn't oblige.
So need to drink less when out, this is work in progress for me.
Need to figure out the truth.
Need to feel better about myself more confidence needed.

Don't dwell too much on it. Rack it up to experience and move on.

Taxis for work do count as NSD if being claimed back on expenses, that's official, so stop worrying!

Just try to keep your head below the parapet at work and continue looking for other jobs in the meantime. Have you looked for work at the regulators?
