FUDDLE the RSPCA would come and collect the rabbit and re-home it if that's what its owners want. She will most definitely fight with your Misty and they will never settle together indoors in a confined space. If you ring the RSPCA and tell them you have a rabbit that's not yours hopping round in the garden for the second day in a row and that you are concerned for its wellbeing and safety they will likely come and collect it and you can explain the situation when they'll probably get the neighbour to sign bunny over to them and allow them to find it another owner who does want it.0

Thanks Lyn. DH got involved. He took the rabbit back and head straight to the fence to put an extra strip of wood all along the bottom to stop it reentering. He didn't want me bothered by anything and as it wasn't our doing he thought it best the owners took responsibility for it.
If it gets in again at least I know I can contact the RSPCA now but let's hope this is the end.0 -
Evening OS chums.
Just a quick post before bedtime, my good intentions of a proper update have really gone awry this week:o
Fuddle - it amazes me when people have pets which they no longer seem to want. I've simply never understood it. I've never had a rabbit (we were always warned as children the foxes would have it in no time at all) but I do feel sorry for it. Your hubby is spot on though, the neighbours have to take responsibility.
I've just "won" an eBay auction for some dinnerware which I'm really pleased about. When we were married having "wedding China" was still the done thing so my choice was Wedgwood Amherst design which I have lots of now and proudly use quite often when I have people round. I also loved the Wedgwood design called "Blue Siam" though but it was more expensive and also a bit more fussy so I opted for the simpler one. Well, over the last few years I've bought a few serving pieces from eBay which I pair up with a plain white China dinner service as an alternative to the other one. Tonight I bought a big platter for £25 which I'm thrilled about. I like to entertain - particularly over Thanksgiving and Christmas so I'm sure it will get an airing very soon.
Off to bed now - going to make the most of the extra hour. Hope to be back tomorrow to let Lyn know how well my new blender is performing!

We're not doing anything this year. Closing the curtains and hiding. Have fun though! I have sewn on spiders and spider webs to youngest black top and leggings ready for Halloween fancy dress at school tomorrow.
DH making spag bol for tea with a side of pizza.the best thing about the new dark nights is that I am soon about to look like a big pink fluffy bear supping hot chocolate.
Sis and I have met with the rev this afternoon. He is going to read my eulogy and understands our need for humour. I think I will be sad but I know exactly what is going to be said, sung etc and I am prepared for it. I am no longer dreading it while h is helpful. The nice chap has helped me a lot.0 -
I just hung my 'ghostie' in the tree, the pumpkin is standing in the front window flanked by two large white candles, the lantern hooks are in the lawn, the jam jar 'glow worms' are ready in the kitchen, the sweeties are in the big bowl ready in the hall..................0

We have only had 2 so far, I have told DGD she will have to take them to work with her tomorrow and give them away to clients

DDs are not able to take sweets to work as they are away on business trips.
Just thinking it might be an idea to save them to put in Christmas stockings or else package up nicely as a small extra present."This site is addictive!"
