Lainey I think I told you that I had suggested to Lyn that she takes a short break, but it seems things have escalated.

She has been such a good friend to so many of us I just wish we could make everything right for her.

Hello all,

I have spoken to Lyn today and she wants you to know she is OK.

It has been a very difficult time, but the trolls have not won. She has not retaliated but has left with her dignity intact and her head held high.

I will never understand why there are people in this world who make it their business to be as nasty as possible. I know there are people who thrive on causing trouble (I worked with one) but karma came to her one day when she wasn't expecting it.

I hope that one day Lyn will be back with us, but in the meantime she will be very busy doing what Lyn does during the summer months, making jams, pickles, dehydrating and bottling.

She has had a busy weekend with Zebra and I hope he was able to take her mind off the hurt that has been caused to her. I know she is very tired now, both physically and mentally.

I told her we will miss her, but I know she needs to be fully ready before we see her again

Oh candlelight, I too am so sad Lyn is leaving us and will miss her such a lot. I don't post often on any thread but always read along and must admit I now feel reluctant to do even that on some of the threads because of the nastiness.

Sorry to intrude here . Thank you for the Lyn update Candlelight . I have been so worried about her and hope she finds her way through all the recent nastiness and vitriol .

Polly can I just say that the v shaped pillow you recommended for Himself when he was so ill, is still in use, he loves it, so thank you.

AOT it is lovely to hear from you, I think some of us feel almost bereft, I think a great deal of healing needs to be done now.

I hope she very much enjoys her busy summer and can re-charge her batteries, both emotionally and physically, surrounded by her family.
I too am a great believer in karma so if anyone is feeling particularly smug about her departure shame on them. Have to believe that the vast majority of people, both here on the boards and in general life are good & would never go out to deliberately hurt another person. Unfortunately at times it's the small percentage of nastier who shout the loudest.
