Aldi's Specially Selected mushroom and bacon pate. It's a Christmas line found between the fresh juices and milk. Very nice.

That's good to know - I bought some the other day and it's a "not to be opened until Cmas eve" item. :D Glad we wont be disappointed.

The 5 pound off 40 pound spend in todays Daily Mirror is valid up until Christmas Eve, that is very useful, might go and get another....
Do I need it or just want it.

Oooh, they're clever. More people like us thinking £5 off and picking up a few treats at the same time, whereas Aldi are thinking...more lots of £35 through the till :D

It`s off your bill, the only restriction is baby milk.

Bad -again! Couldn't get on car park, 2.30 Thursday afternoon. I think there should be specially reserved spaces for those of us who have been going there for years while everyone else turned their noses up while waltzing into Waitrose. I've spread the word, now I can't shop there.

Plenty of space, and some good bargains, in Morrisons however. While there, 2 other people in the queue said the same thing, one saw the carpark and kept driving, the other, like me, at least attempted to get on.

    Buxton. Aldi.

Went to Lidl's for the first time in an age today. Went specifically for (blue bag) luxury muesli that DH loves and further supplies of Stollen. Branston beans were £1.25 for 4. I only bought 1 pack as I can get them anytime for £1.32 in Farmfoods.

I also bought 3 x 99p jars of antipasti. I've already got peppers from Aldi but also now mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes and aubergines:drool: form Lidl. All 99p a jar. Hope they taste as good as they look. It'll make a change from pickles with cold meats and cheeses.

they also have artichoke hearts mmmmmmmm
