Might they be getting in store bakeries? Just an observation, as they seem to have done so well at Lidl. It could just be wishful thinking, as I never buy baked goods from Aldi.In a refurb one of the main things is the fruit&veg area is redone.
Popped into a Lidl branch in Essex today. They had a refurb about 3 months ago and I have to say the shop was buzzing! Nice staff, nice customers, nice stock. The bakery on a Saturday morning is a great draw - do your shopping and reward yourself with some warm pastries for Saturday brunch

Are there different varieties of this and if so which do you recommend?sharon.boreham wrote: »I love Aldi's Granola.
It is very good value for money as you get 1kg instead of part of a kilo & it is cheaper.
It is also healthier than a lot of other Granola's.
I did a taste test of the brand that I was buying, Tesco's own, Sainsbury's own and Aldi's. Aldi's granola was far and away the tastiest.
So it's a win win win from 3 points of view.0 -
The Stollen bites and other xmas food was being given away FREE in my local Lidl this morning, plenty left and they want it shifted by next week.0
