Perhaps this is how they sell them in the European market they cover. They just print the labels to the country they are in.
Would save costs in changing they way they sell product if one way fits all markets.
Plus just selling bunched spring onions without a plastic wrapper could be a UK tradition thing. The more I live, the more I learn.

It's the suppliers but I'm sure Aldi would have a say if they so wish to tell their suppliers. The ever sooo ethical co-op also sells way too many plastic wrapped veg. I get most of mine at Lidl, unwrapped. I just wish they had more organic choices like the do abroad.First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

Good morning everyone,
Lidl had what they call "Aperitivo" in their Italian specials weeks. This is an utter gem for me as after discovering Chinotto (can be used as a soft drink or mixer) on a trip abroad literally decades ago I've been on the hunt for it ever since! The wee bottles of Aperitivo are so, so close, I could swear it's the same. This is the ultimate treat for me, a bittersweet drink with a shot, wonderful. Looking forward to the next Italian week!First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

Loving Aldi's Peri Peri smoked mackerel fillets. Eating them more as on SW they are free or very low syns. Weight Watchers they were 12 points for a fillet! You could have a 10oz steak for the same points. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
