Because of the stand and carving knife that comes with it.

I agree - the quiche was one of the few dud things I've ever bought from Aldi, exactly for that reason.
Strange, we have them quite often and they seem fine to me.

Prawn Crackers - had them last night. Just a little below the standard you'd get from the takeaway.

Thai red curry sauce - not too strong in flavour and spice. Won't be buying again.

I have been shopping at Aldi just a couple of weeks but am already in love with it. Especially the fizz (Cremant de jura) for I think £6.99 - omg it is divine! Bought a free range chicken £4.99 and husband thought it was from Waitrose. Ditto the brisket was fabulous. The hoi-sin stirfry sauce is also excellent. I do some shopping at Lidl too (as this is closer) but love Aldi. Some things that we like, I cannot get in either (Millicano coffee and the breadflour we use for our breadmaker) but otherwise I can shop pretty much solely from both.
    Lucky us!!

Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.
