I bought some Amaretto earlier in the week. It tastes nice, but isn't as strong as the branded stuff. To be honest I'd rather spend a bit more and get the stronger taste. I think I'll end up drinking the Aldi bottle quite quick due to its weakness0

Just used a jar of sweet and sour sauce and it was horrible. Not very spicy and to my mind tasted more of blackcurrant. The frozen tuna is very nice though and good value at £2.99.0

Round here, Aldi has a much more upmarket clientele than Tesco!0 -

Why sweet and sour sauce should be spicy at all? It should be sweet and sour...0 -
Torchon Ham is good & eldest daughter likes the crispbreak type things in tomato or Garlic (by the crisps)0

Do you mean the Anitin bruschettas? I saw these last week and was so excited as we all ate loads of them on holiday in Spain last summer. They are really garlicky and crunchy- awesome. I am stocking up fast as not sure they will be a permanent item!0

As winter is coming they have some merino wool baselayers in store at the moment, £14.99 for a long sleep top which is at least £10 cheaper than I have seen in any outdoor store. Child sizes available too.0

I like that too for convenience but even better (if you have time) is to buy the £3.99(?) per kg gammon joint and cook your own. Freezes well too.0
