Aldi have also introduced a new fat free range of yogurts in large tubs. I got the vanilla one to try and it's lovely. Just as good as the Onken one and saves me a trip to Sainsbury's or Asda to stock up. Think it was 85p so much cheaper than Onken too.

I'm not a yogurt fan but DH likes it on his muesli. 55p for a large pot of plain, fat free is excellent IMO.

Beanburgers were also very nice. Would get them again.

Aldi version of Poppets, called Poppettes I believe, are brilliant. Their £2.99 wine, I can't remember the name but it is something like Mountain Ridge, is excellent.

The salmon from Aldi is better than most supermarkets, and their selection of German meats for sandwiches was impressive.

I would steer clear of their butter though, it was not good.

    Any idea of the name?

I'm surprised by this as I always get the olive spread and the Norpak from Aldi and they're both lovely and great value.

Puzzled by that - been using their standard 98p slightly salted butter for a long time, and it's indistinguishable from any other slightly salted butter, branded or unbranded.

The wife still sticks to Lurpak unsalted, and reckons the Aldi equivalent isn't as good.

The Norpak isn't as nice as Anchor or the like but it isn't awful just not as nice imho.Their butter is lovely though can't tell the difference tbh.Have you tried their frozen garlic baguettes omg they are just the best I have ever tasted anywhere.

I love the frozen garlic baguettes also, I had stopped buying them though as since my O.H. died it was too much for one, then read a tip somewhere, break off the amount you need and pop into those toastie bags, works brilliantly so i can have my garlic bread again.
Do I need it or just want it.

Couldn't see frozen green beans, do they sell them in other stores?
