Aldi venison and pork meatballs are far better than beef mince versions.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Anyone know what actual day this is usually on??

I don't buy newspapers because I get all I need from the internet, don't have time to read them and think they are, generally, written by scumbags. Especially the tabloids.

    Usually Thursday. HTH

I've always loved McVities digestives but since trying the Lidl ones at 30p I much prefer them.

    Hi lily117.

Well, I did give 'em a try and they are very nice.

Not sure I like them quite as much as McVities but there's very little difference so, as they are just 30p (!) I'll definitely stick to these from now on. Thanks for the tip!

    Another Aldi success!

They have added some new yogurts to their Specially Selected range.

Can't remember the flavours (one of them is strawberry, the other 3 are more exotic) but they are multi-layered ones and...

they are INCREDIBLE! Only 49p I believe and the nicest yogurts I've ever had. Another thing to add to my Aldi shopping list!
  • Aldi have also introduced a new fat free range of yogurts in large tubs. I got the vanilla one to try and it's lovely. Just as good as the Onken one and saves me a trip to Sainsbury's or Asda to stock up. Think it was 85p so much cheaper than Onken too.

I have just had to rummage around in the bin! It's 450 gm. There were a few other flavours too - strawberry and I think passion fruit.
