We love the frozen triple pack of margharita pizzas (£2.69?), they are really lovely and also act as a great base if you want to add prosciutto, peppers etc.

Nothing nice about the egg fried rice in a packet from Aldi.

Peculiar odd smell whilst it was cooking and both oh and myself tried one forkful and gave up.

only product from Aldi that I have actively disliked

I get those too, and put frozen mushrooms and peppers on :p

Is that about 500g size yoghurt?
In Lidl the smaller 250g pots are cheaper than 450/500 tubs.

    I've been Money Tipped!
We've eventually tried the Toro Loco wine at just £3.69 per bottle.
Excellent for the price and make a mockery of Morries "half-price" wines for £4.99 (and more)!!

After that recommendation how can I resist! It has gone on my shopping list for later this morning! I have read about it in wine reviews in the Telegraph and been tempted but didn't expect much for that price.

I can confirm that it's a perfectly good wine. As Lynsey says, their honest pricing makes a mockery of all the so-called 'half price' big supermarket wine offers.

Every Aldi wine I've tried (and that's quite a few) has represented excellent value for money. The equivalents of the 'half-price' Tesco wines tend to be sold for at least 25% less than Tesco's 'half price' price.

Is that from ALD1 or L1DL?:D
ETA I got some spicy beanburgers today from ALD1. Used to get them years ago, but haven't seen them for ages!So glad they're back ;)

I bought the beanburgers from aldi as well, not tried them yet, did enjoy the veggie burgers and the price is ok for 4 burgers.

Yes, go for it and try 1 bottle. It's a pity they don't do the small 185ml bottles to sample their wines first.
£3.69 is good though for a decent wine. I believe they do have it on offer now and then, with a few pence off.
