My husband loves their jaffa cakes (although he doesn't like those from Lidl)..

    I LOVE Lidl's Jaffa Cakes!!

While everyone else just rips off the McVities ones (mostly very successfully), the Sonday ones in Lidl are more continental-style ones, very "orangey" and absolutely gorgeous.

I can see why they're not for all tastes but they're one of my top Lidl buys.

Lidl have some yummy new chocs just in.

They're a copy of the little bars of Kinder chocolate but cheaper (99p for a pack of 11 bars) and just as yummy. Can't remember the name atm but they are packaged just like the kinder bars and come under the "Mr Choc" label.

Not normally a fan of the chocolate in Lidl but these are scrummy - and a bargain!!

Also love the quiche lorraine in Lidl. The one at Aldi is also very nice. And both of them are half the price of the ones in other supermarkets.

Oh, and the pork liver pate at both shops is yummy and (surprise!) much cheaper than anywhere else.

Another advocate for Aldi's jaffa cakes they are honestly the best we have ever bought the mcvities seem too dry now when we do have to resort to eating them. Also their quiches especially the specially selected ones are gorgeous the caramalised onion one is the best imho.

Don't forget that you can make a gorgeous bread and butter pudding with panettone..

Having (whoops) just finished a bottle of Valpollicella Ripasso from Aldi I can recommend that..

Makes a lovely summer pudding too.

Always shopped in Aldi for years. Got the newspaper last week and had half price fizzy orange voucher(was 24p) had to try it and it is lovely.

Normally walk past the fizzy drink as never think they taste any good but will be deffo buying this next week again at full price (49p).
