I get the monster munch, and french fries type of crisps, as well as the fruit shoot copies, and the Grandkids love them.
I have been shopping at ALD1 since the mid 90's, and haven't had much to complain about in all those years:D"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Aldi's versions of Wotsits (Cheese Puffs) and Skips (Melts) are both almost identical and only 99p for a bag of 10 packs. Another Aldi bargain!0

Right well had their pork sausages last night for tea the ones that are on offer this week they are lovelywe tried the pork & apple and the plain pork liked them both but tbh the plain pork ones are the nicest. Really taste the difference in these to the cheaper sausages we usually buy went in today and bought a load for the freezer while they are on offer .xXx-Sukysue-xXx0

I have shopped at Aldi for years and overall do most of my shopping in there now. I visited a new store in Lexden, Colchester today at around 11am and the car park was chaotic as they have a church in the same building as Aldi (pretty unique I thought!). Got parked and went in to find that the veg had been delivered and was stacked all over the floor and lots of empty baskets on the veg aisle. Had to ask for the packs of 3 bananas, assistant found them still cling wrapped on a pallet.
At the checkout stood behind rather smartly dressed couple in linen casuals, who promptly loaded their considerable shopping into 'Waitrose' carrier bags!! Just love Aldi!! The food's good too.
I have taken the last couple of days to read through this entire thread and felt compelled to join and sing Aldi's praises too. One is being built near me in Witham so can't wait!:j:T"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Yes but some people feel ashamed to use ALD1 bags, as they don't want anyone to know they shop there;):D"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Ive bought the austins which is their version of Pimms, 5.99, the ballycastle which is a baileys copy, their own version of gin and the amaretto.
The gin is 9.70 for 70cl, the amaretto is 6.49 for 70cl, ballycastle price can vary but its between 3.99 and 5.99 and sure they do two different types.
I also like their anti pasti, they do a jar of french onions, cant remember the exact name, but very very nice.
Ive never seen someone put shopping into posher supermarkets bags, but we dont have that many where I live and people dont really care that much, our aldi is always packed.0 -

I have lots of tesco hessian bags, I use them everywhere from m&s to waitrose to lidl.
I also have an asda, m&s & waitrose hessian, but only one of each.0 -
To be honest I don't care what people think about where I shop! I always use a foldable bag that I carry in my handbag, but sometimes I forget it at home and just pick up a carrier bag from our office kitchen, today it happened to be Waitrose...0

We've eventually tried the Toro Loco wine at just £3.69 per bottle.
Excellent for the price and make a mockery of Morries "half-price" wines for £4.99 (and more)!!

I drink that but my store ran out last week so we tried the Toscana ............even better in my honest opinion :beer:0
