    Reported the above (Spam).
I'm also puzzled on how that could be construed as spam.

Seems to work on the whole. I put my foot into the competition again yesterday for one particular item and found everything so expensive that I went straight out again...

Aldi special - Italian lemonade, tastes exactly like the real thing Orangina and we got the last 2 bottles...so pleased.

McCullloch29, are you serious? If you reported my last post maybe you should have read it - I replied to a question asked...

There was a spam post there with a claimed link to discount vacuum cleaners Happygreen, I should have made that clear. Sorry if I upset you!

    Phew...glad that's sorted out :)

Aldi 300 g Honey Ham - going to be a favourite with DD2 - great value for cooked meats.

Me too Happygreen, I hate upsetting people!

Some of the Aldi seasonals seem to have re-emerged or been restocked.

I've noticed jars of mayonaisse in our Aldi as well as the squeezy mayo. Wholegrain mustard is now just 39p a jar, along with the Dijon and English varieties. These are all brilliant.
The powder sauces and cooking mixes have been repackaged and are now in 25p large sachets. ( chilli con carne, sausage casserole, cheese sauce, etc)

The laundry gel, 21 washes, had disappeared for a few weeks, but was back today, £1.99. All or virtually all the Aldi laundry range seems to be Good Housekeeping recommended.

    Reductions/Super 6.

The Best Chips in The World, Aldi's Specially Selected Chunky Chips are down to £1.55 (big bag too). I've seen people fill trolleys with these, restauranteurs or cafe owners, presumably.

Leeks were an incredible 29p for 3, 600g parsnips were 39p, snack pack grapes 49p, mangetout 49p
Fizzy vitamin tablets with zinc were down to 89p, from 99p

Spotted on the reduced Specialbuys and snapped up: An electric salt or pepper mill (4 AAA batteries supplied) for £2.19 from £3.99. Works well too. Colours were a bit bright for my tastes, but the yellow looks ok in my kitchen.

  • I spotted plastic folders (various styles and colours) reduced from 89p to 29p in Aldi. I bought a few packs for DGD as useful for school work.

For once the snack pack grapes were (marginally) cheaper than the big packs. Good time to buy both colours.

Aldi have the specialbuy Cherry and Apple fizzy pop on sale this week. In the past these have tasted like Tango, infact better than Tango.

However the Apple is a cheap tasteless version like the cheap pop on sale in Morrisons and the Cherry whilst nice is not as tangy/tarty as previously.

I guess this is down to where they sourced it this time to offer it cheap. I'd rather they offer them permanently though.
