Someone mentioned BBQ sauce. This is a seasonal product. I'm not sure why these days as BBQ sauce is very popular now and it is frustrating how expensive it is bar at Poundland.

Home Bargains sell a really good bbq sauce for 69p I think it is. Global Choice is the brand.

If you love cashews like I do, I recommend Aldi's ("Clancy's") 150g for £1.39. That's cheap for cashews, and they're excellent quality nuts.

Ermmm this is an Aldi/Lidl thread lol

Yes but poster was stating he couldn't get the bbq sauce in Aldi or Lidl as it was seasonal and hat everywhere else was expensive, I was simply being helpful and offering an alternative!

I've just moved and the only supermarkets within walking distance are Lidl and Adli. I picked up some optifit yoghurt drinks from Aldi lsat week and they're very nice. :) Their brown rolls are quite nice too.

In contrast to someone's earlier post, I actually *prefer* Lidl's breakfast cerials. I find the Kellogg's ones too sweet/sugary for me, particularly the Fruit&Fibre. Lidl's "Crownfield" brand Fruit&Fibre is nicer than Kellogg's to me. But then again, I don't like very sugary things, so maybe not everyone would feel the same!

Also the Apricot/Cranberry/whatever Wheats in Lidl are absolutely identical to the Wheats sold in all the other supermarkets (including Waitrose), but normally 20p cheaper!

My DH absolutely loves Lidl Luxury muesli. He prefers the blue bag but green is fine too. He bought 4 bags today unprompted as he wouldn't enjoy his breakfast if we ran out.
