The Wagyu Burgers are to die for in my opinion. Are they back in store then? Haven't seen them for months round our way. Shepperton, Walton.

Yes, we had them in Kent quite a while ago, too (before Christmas ISTR). They are good, but perhaps not so enormously different as some might claim.

To the OP I'd say, well worth trying, but don't expect the earth to move.

Aldi's Torchon Ham - fine tasting stuff, and Aldi's version of Mars Bars (forgotten the name as not bought them for a while!).
They are titan bars and they are gorgeous!

Bought some Polish dumplings in Aldi last week and they were absolutely delicious! Went to a different Aldi this week and was hoping to buy more so was terribly disappointed they didn't stock them, nor any other Polish lines. Guess it must be a regional thing.

I love the Polish dumplings ( both the meat and vegetable versions ) from Lidl - but they only have them in when they are doing a special "Polish week"

I think the first Aldi I visited stock these Polish foods on a regular basis (they were in the corner of fresh foods but had a portion of all three shelves. I was disappointed to see the second store I visited only had microwave burgers and English ready meals in the same space :(

We tried Lidl's deluxe sticky toffee pudding last night (brought when it was half price), and it was great. The sponge was quite light, not cloyingly heavy as some STP can be, and there was a generous covering of rich, gooey toffee sauce.

I've been to my local Aldi and Lidl this morning between 9 and 10 am Aldi had lots of cages in the Isles but was very well stocked Lidl had barely any veg at all and the meat chillers were just about empty,if it wasn't for the Nesspreso compatible coffee pods I wouldn't bother with it. If anyone else has missed the Western Gold bourbon £12:99 that disappeared in October it's back, sign says new but it's not its just the same which is a relief I rate it highly.

Lidl seems to buy whatever they get their hands on as long as they get a good price for, which can be really good for us costumers. I live in Sweden and over here Lidl got their hands on a really big shipment of protein powder that they sold off really cheap. I swear every Lidl store in the whole country was stacked with it.

    I think I got 4-5 of them.

I am really taken with the taste of the black seedless grapes in Lidl at the moment and at £2.90/kilo they are slighly cheaper than the white or red ones :)
