I mentioned the Aldi big pot berries yogurt a few days ago. I've now tried the Aldi big pot low-fat Greek yogurt with honey.
This is truly one of the nicest yogurts I've ever eaten, very thick, very creamy and not too sweet or too tart.
I am afraid I ate the whole 450g pot in one sitting,it was impossible to stop.

Two excellent buys from Aldi...
4 x Large Brown Baps - 52p (the sort of thing you get in an independent sandwich shop)
200g Specially Selected Gorgonzola - £1.49. This is the proper stuff, absolutely delicious and supplied in an elaborate resealable container. I tried the Dolce variety, which is soft and creamy, with a slight nuttiness to the blue flavour.0 -
I see that Aldi are doing a coffee liqueur from Thursday (clearly a Tia Maria me-too). It says "new" but I would be interested in any reviews.

The Aldi spirits and liqueurs I have tried have been excellent.
I had a £5 off £40 spend voucher today, so I picked up a free bottle of Ameretto. :beer:0 -
My hubby has had the Aldi Amaretto and Baileys, he said he couldn't tell the difference at all.Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.0

Thanks for the heads up. I try to keep cheese eating to a minimum during the year but that'll be one on my list for Christmas.;)0 -
A few weeks ago, I bought a (child's) plastic mat, to prevent slipping in the bath, from Aldi.
When I opened the pack, last week, it was rather strong smelling, so I spread it out to air and forgot about it. However, later that day, I was convinced that I could smell burning, so had to go round sniffing at all electrical appliances/sockets to check..until I came to the mat.
Yesterday, I used it and aren't convinced that it's of any use as it is shiny although dimpled, but on emptying the bath, the smell was much worse.
My husband and I had the same idea , ie leave it soaking in a few inches of water heavily scented with Lynx, but that just made it go from transparent to translucent , smelling just as bad and after a night in the bathroom, its aroma can be detected downstairs in the hallway.
I hate wasting money, but think Ill have to bin it , unless someone has a solution to the smell.0 -

Just take it back. They won't argue the toss, and give you a full refund.
I believe that they will refund even if you do not have the receipt.0 -

They are very good about product refunds, normally, but the mat has no maker's mark and I don't have the wrapper or label, though I may take it back just to illustrate the problem.0
