Try panetonne. Except its expensive at this time of the yar, I usualy buy big ones from the 99p shop around March / April when they have pallets to clear.

What was once a good buy is now one to avoid.

The Aldi "Luxery" muesli has changed packaging and with it radically changed the composition and slashed the amount of fruit - now no better than most "value" brands in the supermarkets at double the price.

I also think it is very disingenuous as the new packaging extols the fact this muesli won a "Great Taste" award in 2013. To me this is false advertising as the new product cannot be compared with what used to be the king of muesli.

I agree with these sentiments. For some years I loved this product and was a little suspicious when on our last shop the packet had changed colour to an anaemic lilac sort of shade. The product is definitely way below what it was before. A distinct lack of nuts and dried fruit. What a pity. Maybe they could re introduce the former recipe and charge a few pence more? I did think that it was very reasonably priced for what it was before and would love to have the old one returned. meanwhile, back to the all bran!!

I like the Aldi Swiss style muesli - a bit more "hair shirt" than the luxury, but still quite tasty and not powdery like official Alpen. They also have a no added sugar version for anyone on a diet.

Sorry about the multiple posts, that was me using the iPhone to post. Mea culpa.
Lots of lovely shelled nuts in our Aldi, great for Christmas baking, but had been put near the crisps, with the salted nuts. I'm off down there now, I forgot to get sweeties for Trick or Treaters. I have lots of apples but they may not go down well!
    I never give money.

We bought our first ceramic pan (30cm x 4cm deep) from TKMaxx a couple of months ago for £19.99 and it is superb.
We use a little oil in it, and when we have finished cooking, leave it to cool down, then use a bit of Fairy liquid and a soft sponge to clean.

Aldi have a new range of big pot yogurts, I've just tried the raspberry, blueberry and cranberry and it is lovely. Lots of pieces of fruit, not too sweet or too tangy, just right. I think they were something like 89p for 450g, so a very favourable comparison with Yeo Valley, Onken etc.

Lucky you - here there is no food at all in next week's leaflet or did they print 2 different ones??
But enamelled pans at Lidl next week (from 6th), I'm tempted.

My mum tried the Aldi "Gold" teabeags after I left her the vouchers last week, and has wasted no time in telling how unimpressed she is with them (very weak, apparently).

I'm happy with Lidl's Knightsbridge breakfast tea, gave her a box to compensate (and end the rant. It worked :D).
