that isn't good stock control - and the stores are EPOS, so re-ordering is a doddle. perhaps the local distributors are not getting enough stock in? or the manager is a dozy geet? yes, let HQ know through the Aldi website, I believe there is a contact us button. Something gone badly wrong in that store.

you do get occasional 'gaps' on shelves in any store - sometimes suppliers let you down, the delivery lorry breaks down, not enough staff shelf filling - but the pics you show - that's bad stock management.

dammit - totally forgot I posted to say that the fresh pineapple I bought last Thursday and cut up for the grandkids today.........divine, absolutely divine! and only 69p. even the middle bit was sweet and juicy, chewy but not rock hard as they usually are!

    Lidl now taking credit cards.

Re: the Aldi store above, that is not typical, and looks like a complete failure of stock ordering/delivery. It doesn't look like a store rushed off it's feet, as the empty outers for the products are not there.

Tried the Aldi plain bagels yesterday. 79p for four, but I wasn't too impressed. They don't compare well to supermarket brands as I found them too bready and not dense or chewy enough...
