I bought a turkey today from Aldi for £9, weight was 3.80 kilos:)
Hope they soon accept credit cards, then I can get my 1% cashback.0 -
My friend swears that Aldi will never use credit cards in England.
I have lost out on special buys as I didn't have enough money on my debit card to pay with. Then five days later, I get paid and could I find the special buy? Nope!
Until Aldi accept credit cards, if there is anything I want on the special buys and cash flow isn't good, I ask my parents to lend me money. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Where are these Aldi stores in 'England' that accept credit cards?
The only one that I know of is in Berwick on Tweed, which is very, very close to the border of Scotland;)
Doesnt say which stores - but read the answer to the first question on the "Store Faqs" tab at

Because the stores are relatively small, this creates pressure on space and on staff to keep the store running properly.
My local store had 2 weeks of disruption, and now it's back to normal.
Yes thats 1 of the pitfalls of having small stores.0 -
I bought some of Aldi's long life filled pasta. Not impressed. I find their jelly babies a bit hard. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
