Anyone got a handle on how much I'm looking at for these? Can I get a can of chopped tomatoes for 35p for instance? Thanks.
I've got some in the oven at the moment atop their new seeded ciabatta from the bakery.0 -

Hi Davey jp, can I ask where you heard this? Wouldn't be at all surprised but would be interesting to see how they manage to withdraw it without a deluge of negative comments!
Edit: looks like it's John Lewis restricting their free coffee and cake offer, not waitrose (as yet;)
Bought the active fat free vanilla yoghourt from Aldi today for dd to try
You are right, Waitrose are not stopping the free coffee. It is John Lewis. The chairman of Waitrose was recently saying that despite the huge take up of the offer the extra spend by these new customers in store makes it cost effective. Does not sound like they are dropping it anytime soon.0 -
maybe not meant to say on this thread - poundstretcher 29p at the moment
Aldi's chopped tomatoes are nicer than Lidl's (a bit watery unless you go for premium). sorry, don't remember the local prices but probably the same elsewhere:(First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -

Their Mamia nappies are excellent. used to buy them to keep in my house as 'spares' for when the grandbabies came to visit. Their mums soon discovered they were just as good as Pampers and Huggies and my shopping trolley got loaded with packs of these for the grandbabes.0 -
Thanks for a fast reply.A watched pot always boils. :j0

Aldi Mamia nappies used to be the best around but they recently "improved" them and I think they aren't as good, the sticky tab isn't as sticky and often pulls off when you are trying to get them on.0
