I'll go into Lidl today for a food processor. It has 3 years guarantee and I had to return one as not working I bought from an ebay business last week. what a waste of time, so Lidl it is. Will get large bags of onions and potatoes on offer. I never had an issue with an odd squishy one as 5 kilos is a lot of onions for £ 1.79, that's 35 p /kg.

If you live in a hard water area then all in one tablets will just not perform.

Set the dishwasher up for the right water hardness and use separate products for the best results.

thats interesting...our dw hasnt been great lately and we live in a very hard water area

But according to the box you shouldn't have to use salt. I haven't put salt in my machine for nigh on three years now and never had this problem when using Finish or Fairy tabs.

Dishwasher salt is 99p, cheaper than going back to Finish or Fairy.

Only by a few pence a week. I did the costings last time this was discussed (possibly on a different thread). I'll have to get dishwasher salt locally now as I need to use the machine today so will no doubt cost me a lot more than 99p, unfortunately :(

Just came on here to ask about dishwasher tablets, having used my aldi shopping savings to buy one! Most excited...never had a dishwasher before.

Finish all in one tablets from lidl...£7.50 for 26. Is this normal price? Noted all comments above...aldi all in one generally OK with salt. No mention of lidl own dishwasher products. No mention of aldi seperate cleaner/rinse aid etc.

    Anyone any experience please?

That sounds quite expensive I usually pay around £6 for 40, less if possible.

Aldi - they were selling off crystallised ginger for only 49p per 200g pack. Usually 99p.
Not in my branch, I love it so looked particularly, still 99p
Do I need it or just want it.

Finish are usually on a good offer at Poundland, 10 for £1 I think.

There are plenty discussions about dishwasher tablets in this thread. My last one is here

Lidl tablets are good. I use them for ages. As with most all-in-one products, they do everything, but nothing perfect ;) And you also pay for the "convenience" of having everything in one product, if you think that it is inconvenient to refill the salt and rinse aid once a month.
  • Bylromahra Finish all in one tabs on offer at Mr T*sco down from £16 for 56 to £7 for 56 - not sure when the offer ends though.
    July 16 £95/£200
    Nov 16 £0/£200
