    I've been Money Tipped!
Just had an Aldi Duo Crunch vanilla choco hoops and the yoghurt is thicker and creamier than Mullers crunch corners.

Still I am picky with Aldi's yoghurts

I was going to mention these. I went into Aldi yesterday to pick uo some bits as I was expecting a friend round and her little girl for a play date with my dd.

I had purchased the 6 pack of these choco corners and Forest Fruits juice. Also some pre packed salad and some chicken legs.

Soon after they arrived I gave the girls each a choco corner and my friend was, ' ooooh what's that. Never seen them before'. I offered her one and she loved. I told her they were from Aldi and the price. She was shocked. At dinner she loved the juice. I told her where I had bought everything and she said she would do her next shop at Aldi. She normally shops at Waitrose for meat and Tescos for the rest. We talked for a good long while about Aldi and Lidl :rotfl:

Lidl's version of these are lovely too. I've tried the choc balls one and the strawberry one and they are both gorgeous.

Found an Aldi product I'm not happy with - the all-in one dishwasher tablets!!

All my glasses and black gloss crockery have come out with white marks and look dull. Just hope they're not ruined :(

Don't know whether to bin them and go back to using Finish Quantum or go and spend more money on dishwasher salt and rinse aid in the hope it might help, despite claiming not to need them

I always use these and my glasses come out sparkling ? I don't add rinse aid but I do use salt. Never have a problem with white marks.

Last time Lidl had this SDS drill in I bought one - about a year ago. Costs £40 and for similar spec elsewhere you'd pay £130. It's fab, particularly if you've any flint in your walls…

Agreed. I use them, but keep the salt dispenser filled up. Sparkly glassware and shiny mugs.

But according to the box you shouldn't have to use salt. I haven't put salt in my machine for nigh on three years now and never had this problem when using Finish or Fairy tabs.

If you live in a hard water area then all in one tablets will just not perform.

Set the dishwasher up for the right water hardness and use separate products for the best results.

As I said, never had a problem using Finish or Fairy tablets without salt, only the Aldi ones.

Aldi - Orchard Premium Pear Cider is ok, but not that great. Prefer Thatcher's Gold, then Strongbow in case you share my taste.

I bought a 'baco' cling film dispenser from poundstretcher for £2.50. it works brilliantly. I wanted to get another for my mum but they didn't have any more so I got the Aldi one. for £3.99 (a pound off in the reduced section). had to take it back as it didn't work - tried a few and finally found one that worked. so exchanged it. it isn't as good as the 'baco' one.
and it doesn't have the 100 metres of cling film that came with the 'baco' brand one.
I gave mum the baco one, as its easier to use.
