I went to Lidl for their pork offer (2 kg for £10). I avoided the wheat beer barrell successfully... . I always buy their 1 kg plain yoghurt, sometimes also the flavoured ones. Black forest ham a treat at half price today, and sadly also biscuits and chocolate, darn....

Tried the deluxe margarita pizza for first time last night and it was quite nice. Also got some of the biscuits that are similar to those made by Bahlsen and the Simply Sumptuous Berries and Cherries Muesli which are both nice.

At Lidl, I really like the in store bakery section, particularly the cheese topped rolls. I'm also keen on several of their deluxe products.
At Aldi, I love the seasonal fruit crush drinks which have just made an appearance in the stores within the last couple of weeks, and am also rather partial to their American style ice cream.

    Welcome to the forum.

Might be useful to list the Deluxe products you are fond of.

Hi not necessarily a good/bad buy but I bought one of the fruit trees aldi were selling a couple of months ago and wondered if any else had had problems with them? I bought the Braeburn apple variety and planted it as the instructions suggested but I still seem to have a rather dormant looking tree! I know a few people on here (or it might have been another thread) said how good threes were from aldi, however I think I might have picked a dud. Any suggestions? Sorry if this isn't really in the right thread but any help is appreciated :) thanks

I bought a Cherry, Peach & Apple tree - the Cherry & Peach are now in leaf.:j
