Lidl Creme Fresh, about a third cheaper (per 100ml, I checked! ) than big S, T and M. Nice.First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0

Echo the comments about tinned goods, i.e. Kidney Beans, Chopped Tomatoes etc. They are ridiculously good compared to the Value ranges of other stores. And they're cheaper! They cut the prices recently on the Kidney Beans too.0

Had the pork shanks in apple & cider sauce from Aldi last night. Delicious!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

Got the Jack Monroe book for Mothers Day, so am looking forward to using some of her recipes. Thanks for the tips.
Wanted to let you know the easter bunnies (like the Lindt Reindeers) have gone down in price to 69p in my local Aldi. Had to use every urge to restrain myself from picking up more than 1 for my nephewWho made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Recently tried the Cup Shotz pasta things, instead of my usual mug shirts from home bargains, I'm converted! There's more in the packet and take less time to 'cook', shame they don't do more flavours though0

Ahh thanks, they only had tomato and sweet & sour noodles, I'll have a further look next time0 -
Found some London Cheesecakes hiding in my Aldi yesterday and just finished it.
Tasted just like I remember from childhood. They even had the right consistency and flavour of jam in the middle.
OH saw them and gagged - not a fan of coconut - ha ha, your loss matey boy!
99p for 2. Another thing to add to the "Why did I ever pick that up as a little treat as I'm going to buy it far too regularly now I've tasted." listWho made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Have cut down sugar and upped the exercise over the last week (not hard from a recent baseline of zero) and now can look at such things without salivating / hallucinating.
