I was looking yesterday for the Bathroom cleaner in Aldi, no joy.
Its the 2nd Aldi with no stock so I don't know if its discontinued, they had a cleaner called clean 'n' fresh so bought that instead ...it is brilliant!!!!
    Absolutely fab.
Also managed to get proper Hot Dog rolls, which are really good.
First shop i've come across that sells the proper ones with the slit through the top.
    I love Aldi! :)
BTW I also visited Asda yesterday, wanted Toilet rolls, came out spending more than I intended and found even paying for my stuff at the stupid self services tills stressful, then had to queue at CS Because I realised I had been overcharged.
I'll say it again, I love Aldi! :)

Hi not necessarily a good/bad buy but I bought one of the fruit trees aldi were selling a couple of months ago and wondered if any else had had problems with them? I bought the Braeburn apple variety and planted it as the instructions suggested but I still seem to have a rather dormant looking tree! I know a few people on here (or it might have been another thread) said how good threes were from aldi, however I think I might have picked a dud. Any suggestions? Sorry if this isn't really in the right thread but any help is appreciated :) thanks
I bought a Cherry, Peach & Apple tree - the Cherry & Peach are now in leaf.:j

I bought one of the apple trees several years back and it is fabulous. Mine is a flagpole variety, has grown well, is healthy and produces tasty apples.

Can't guarantee that yours will be the same, but I'd have no hesitation buying another one based on that experience. Could it be that it's just not ready yet? Mine's in bud but not leaf or blossom yet, that's in the south east.

    What price?

I bought some of the hand-finished ?deluxe? carrot cakes from Lidl last week for the princely sum of just £1.25 each (2 discounts applied) but we didn't get round to eating them on Sunday. They are now sitting in my mum's freezer :o

If she's anything like the people in my area, probably not (but agreed 1,000 is a bit of an exaggeration if its for personal use).

It makes me cross that retailers come in first thing and supermarket sweep the shelves of outers to sell on themselves but its a free country I suppose. Its no secret - the staff all know it, but no-one has the sense to try and use the offers to lure new business from small-scale shoppers. Really stupid if you ask me!

she's not selling them on, only was expressing how much she liked them and to get her many! there might be none left anyway by the time we get there
