Good and bad buys from Aldi and Lidl

I picked up the Aldi Easter magazine yesterday. I see that they have, amongst other things, Salmon Terrine (£7.99), Fresh Gressingham Duck (£7.99), 4 X Quails (£4.99) and Pheasant (£7.99). They're going a bit 'up market' perhaps but no complaints from me!
Yesterday I bought 3 X 10 hanging basket plants (10 for £1.79) which look in really good condition.
We love their Granola.0 -

I'm a vet, so trust me, Bob Martin's products are a complete waste of money. The Flevox is exactly the same active ingredient as Frontline only much cheaper as it no longer has to cover a patent so there are lots of generic versions around now. It also comes in various sizes so simply choose the appropriate one for your size of dog.
thanks.
I wondered why there was loads of the treatments left,
looking at that link again the ones for £1 are near the ubd, and the others are £3.26 + £2 pp.
ill see what they sell at the local vets and there advice. not that I don't believe you, ill bet your "spot on":rotfl:0 -

Thought that was only in Wales (why is that?). Is it being extended to the rest of the UK? And if Lidl go that way, I imagine Aldi will have to follow.
I certainly hope so! That is my one and only bug bear about using Aldi, the lack of credit card facilities.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
lidl will get much more of my business if they take credit cards as that is how we budget for food. Put it all on a card and pay off at end of month.
Just do top ups with cash at the moment at lidl.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -

Not everywhere. Even in London some do, some don't.Kantankrus_Mare wrote: »lidl will get much more of my business if they take credit cards as that is how we budget for food.
I wouldn't call that "budgeting"...0 -
